Liam Gordon signs new St Johnstone deal

St Johnstone have handed defender Liam Gordon a contract extension until 2021, the club have announced.

McDiarmid Park boss Tommy Wright is a big fan of the 22-year-old and believes there is more to come from the former Hearts youngster.

Perth-born Gordon has made nine appearances for Wright's side this season and his new deal now ties him to Saints for the next two-and-a-half years.
