Dele Alli 'denied deadline day move to PSG'

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly failed in their efforts to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.

The England international has spent much of the campaign on the sidelines, having fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho.

That has allegedly resulted in the playmaker expressing an interest in moving to PSG, who are now led by former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the Evening Standard says that Spurs have no plans to allow the 24-year-old to make the loan switch to Parc des Princes.

The Premier League outfit have been unable to bring in a replacement, leaving Alli in line to act as backup during the second half of the season.

Alli's only outing for Spurs since the turn of the year came against non-league Marine in the FA Cup on January 10.
