Report: Etienne Capoue no longer joining West Bromwich Albion on loan

Talks between Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion regarding a loan move for midfielder Etienne Capoue have broken down, according to reports.

The France international is said to be keen on a move away from White Hart Lane in order to play first-team football, after seldom featuring under Mauricio Pochettino.

According to Sky Sports News, however, the deal has been called off, leaving Capoue with little time to pursue other options before the closure of the transfer window.

Capoue has made just 19 league starts for Spurs since his £9m arrival from Toulouse.
