The agent of Lewis Holtby has revealed that he expects the midfielder to leave Tottenham Hotspur on loan before Friday.

The German's future at White Hart Lane has been called into question during the past few weeks after falling down the pecking order under new manager Tim Sherwood.

"My feeling is that he will leave, but it's not in my hands at the moment," Marcus Noack is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Holtby joined Spurs from Schalke 04 in January 2013 on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
