Sporting Kansas City have missed the chance to move top of the Eastern Conference as they lost at home to 10-man Columbus Crew.

Kansas had looked to be heading for a comfortable win when Kei Kamara headed home from Graham Zusi's free kick on eight minutes.

However, two goals from Jairo Arrieta - one with each foot - turned the game on its head by half-time.

Cole Grossman was shown a straight red card for a foul on Zusi in second-half stoppage time.
