Spain coach Vicente del Bosque reveals that his players are "drained" after their quarter-final victory with France.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has admitted that his side will prepare for their Euro 2012 semi-final "drained".

The defending champions advanced to the last four with a 2-0 victory over France last night.

Their opponents in the semis, Portugal, have had two extra days to recover ahead of the Iberian clash on Wednesday.

Del Bosque said: "We have two fewer days to rest than them. It is a small handicap."

He added: "We have arrived very drained because the heat we suffered tonight was cruel on the players."

Three of the final four in Poland and Ukraine have been decided with Germany joining the Iberian duo. England or Italy will complete the semi-final line up when they contest their quarter-final this evening.
