League Two Player of the Month nominees revealed

The final League Two Player of the Month award this season will be won by either Adam Barrett, Connor Goldson, Kemar Roofe or Jed Wallace.

Veteran centre-back Barrett started every one of Southend's seven wins in April as the Shrimpers didn't let in a single goal to move within touching distance of automatic promotion.

Another defender to enjoy a successful month was Shrewsbury Town's Goldson, who helped his side to clean-sheet victories in all four games that he played in.

West Bromwich Albion loanee Roofe netted five goals in six games for Oxford United, including a fine individual effort against Cambridge United.

Finally, Portsmouth youngster Wallace shone with three long-range strikes and was also named in the division's top 10 players.

The winner will be announced tomorrow morning.
