Saphir Taider Southampton loan deal terminated

Saphir Taider has returned to Inter Milan having had his loan contract at Southampton terminated.

The 22-year-old midfielder joined the Saints last month in a deal that saw Dani Osvaldo head in the opposite direction to the San Siro.

However, Taider has reportedly failed to adapt to manager Ronald Koeman's training methods, with a statement on the club's official website stating: "Having failed to live up to the high levels of commitment expected of Southampton players, [Taider's] arrangement has been cut short by the club."

The Algeria international made just one first-team appearance for Southampton.
