Report: Nathaniel Clyne puts Southampton contract talks on hold

Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne has reportedly decided to delay talks regarding his future until the season comes to a close.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a switch to Manchester United, but the Saints are believed to be keen to tie the player down to a new four-year contract.

According to ESPN, Clyne, who has been at St Mary's since 2012, has told the Saints that he will not make a final decision on his future until the summer.

At that time, Clyne will have just one year remaining on his deal.
