Southampton's Dusan Tadic: 'We deserved more against Swansea City'

Dusan Tadic admits that he was confident that Southampton would come away with all three points against Swansea City, but ended up suffering a 1-0 loss.

Dusan Tadic has expressed his belief that Southampton "deserved" to come away with three points against Swansea City on Sunday.

Ronald Koeman's side were undone by an 83rd-minute strike from Jonjo Shelvey, who sealed victory for the Swans at St Mary's.

"It was really strange, because this was one of our best games - the way how we played, how we dominated the game, and it was really strange," the Daily Echo quotes Tadic as saying.

"I was sure that we were going to take three points. We deserved much more, but I think this is a good way of playing and the results are going to come."

Southampton squandered the opportunity to go ahead of Manchester United in the Premier League table, but stay fourth.
