Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo has been suspended by the club for reportedly getting involved in a bust-up with teammate Jose Fonte.
The Premier League outfit announced earlier today that the Argentine has been told to stay away from the club for two weeks.
Now, it has emerged that the incident in question was a fight between the players, which was instigated by Osvaldo and left Fonte bleeding but not seriously injured, according to BBC Sport.
Reports have claimed that interim chief executive Gareth Rogers personally made the decision on his first day in charge to suspend the striker.
