Southampton defender Dejan Lovren believes that his side deserves credit for keeping five successive clean sheets at St Mary's.
The former Championship outfit are currently fifth in the Premier League table following a 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday evening.
"To concede just three goals in nine games in this league is very hard so we deserve the respect now from the others," the Daily Echo quotes Lovren as saying.
"But it's the whole team, not just the four in defence and the goalkeeper. It's each player, we all work hard on the training ground. It's a pleasure to play every day with these players."
The Saints are due to take on Stoke City at the Britannia next weekend.
