Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has claimed that there is "something very special" about the club following their impressive start to the season.
The Saints are currently in second place in the Premier League table thanks to eight wins from their first 11 games.
Despite seeing a number of key players leave during the summer, Forster believes that Southampton's "togetherness" has played an important role in the opening few months of the campaign.
"There is something very special about the club," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "There is togetherness here I've never experienced before, especially when you consider the turnover of players.
"That's a credit to the lads who have settled in so fast and a credit to the players already here for making us feel so welcome. The manager and coaching staff make us believe in ourselves and give us the courage to go out and play."
Southampton's latest victory came on Saturday with a 2-0 win at home to Leicester City.
