Sheffield Wednesday sign Norwich City's Gary Hooper on loan

Norwich City striker Gary Hooper has completed a loan switch to Sheffield Wednesday.

The 27-year-old, who has featured just twice for the Canaries this term, has gone straight into the squad for tonight's League Cup tie against Arsenal at Hillsborough.

Under the terms of the agreement, Hooper will remain with the Owls until January 17, when the deal will be reassessed.

The frontman has scored 20 goals in his 70 appearances for Norwich following his arrival from Celtic for a reported £5m fee in July 2013.
