Sheffield Wednesday have ended striker Chris Maguire's loan period at Coventry City with immediate effect.
A deal had been agreed for Maguire to remain at the League One club until January 5, but the Owls have opted to recall the 24-year-old.
Maguire made three appearances during his time with the Sky Blues, netting twice in their victory at MK Dons at the end of November.
He could now return to Wednesday's squad for their Boxing Day clash with Blackburn Rovers.
