Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship clash between Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley at Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday can extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to five matches on New Year's Day when they welcome Burnley to Hillsborough.

Dave Jones's side have picked up 10 points from their last four games in the league - an upturn in fortune that has seen them move three points away from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, 13th-placed Burnley have been in unpredictable form as of late with one win, three draws and two defeats from their previous six putings.

The hosts are expected to remain unchanged from the team that drew 0-0 with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Top scorer Charlie Austin could be missing for the Clarets after he was forced off just seven minutes into Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Leicester City.

Recent form:

Sheff Weds: LLWWWD

Burnley: DLDDWL

Possible lineups:

Sheff Weds: Kirkland; Buxton, R Johnson, Gardner, Llera; Antonio, McCabe, Lee, Helan; Prutton, Madine

Burnley: Grant; Trippier, Lafferty, Duff, Shackell; McCann, Wallace, Marney, Treacy; Ings, Paterson

Sports Mole says: 2-1
