Sheffield Wednesday announce departure of Dejphon Chansiri advisors

Jonathan Hill and Paul Senior depart Sheffield Wednesday after six months at Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed that Jonathan Hill and Paul Senior have left the Championship club.

The duo had been working as chairman Dejphon Chansiri's advisors during their six months at Hillsborough.

Alongside Glenn Roeder, the pair are said to have had a big say in the Owls' summer transfer activity, though they have now departed their respective roles.

Speaking to Wednesday's official website, Chansiri commented: "I have enjoyed working with both Jonathan and Paul, their input during the start of my ownership period has been most helpful.

"As I stated when I announced the formation of the committee it will continue to evolve ensuring we harvest the best advice possible from worldwide experts within our industry.

"I have quickly built up a global network of trusted advisors and I am confident the committee will continue to build further on the success I believe we have already achieved during the summer transfer window."

Senior has previous experience working with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Charlton Athletic, while Hill is a former Manchester United youth coach.
