Ben Davies wins it for Sheffield United

Ben Davies's second-half winner has given Sheffield United all three points in their League One clash against Coventry City this afternoon.

Both sides had little but pride to play for and there were few chances of note in the opening exchanges.

After the restart United's John Brayford came close to an equaliser when he fired over from 10 yards out.

Ryan Flynn eventually got the goal when he fired in following good link-up play with Conor Coady.

Andy Webster had a golden chance to put Coventry back in front but he could only put his shot wide.

He was made to pay as United's Ben Davies rose unmarked to head home and put the Blades in front, giving his team the win.
