Mark Robins, Aiden O'Brien claim October League One awards

Mark Robins and Aiden O'Brien have been named the League One Manager and Player of the Month for October.

Robins's Scunthorpe United soared up the table with five wins in six games after they managed only two victories in their first 10 matches of the season.

The Iron also had a 13-5 goal differential in a month which was headlined by a 3-0 away win at Chesterfield.

Tricky Millwall youngster O'Brien claimed the best player award for scoring three goals as he switched between a spot on the wing and attack.

He especially stood out at Bramall Lane on October 24, when his brace gave the Lions a surprise win away at Sheffield United.
