It will be worst versus first in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer this Sunday as St Louis City host the Los Angeles Galaxy at CityPark.
In a short, rescheduled game on Wednesday, St Louis gave up two goals inside the final 10 minutes, falling 2-0 at Dallas, while the Galaxy won their previous domestic outing, 3-2 against Real Salt Lake.

Defensively, the Galaxy look terrified every time the opposition enter its third of the field, while St Louis have feasted off their opponents' mistakes, and LA make far too many of those from one match to the next.

Portland vs. Dallas (Monday, 3.00am)

The Portland Timbers can extend their MLS regular-season unbeaten run at Providence Park versus Dallas to six matches when the two face each other on Sunday.
At the moment, Portland sit 11th in the Western Conference, playing to a 0-0 draw with the Seattle Sounders last Saturday, while Dallas remain in fourth but just two points behind St Louis City for the lead after beating them 2-0 earlier this week.

An extra few days of rest should be helpful for the Timbers this weekend against a Toros side who do not look as sharp defensively on the road as they do at home.
