Rochdale sign Javan Vidal

Rochdale have completed the signing of former Manchester City defender Javan Vidal.

The 24-year-old, who can operate in a number of positions, has agreed non-contract terms with the club following a successful trial.

Vidal departed City in 2011 before joining Stockport County, but he left the Conference outfit at the end of last season.

A number of clubs had also been linked with a move for the centre-back.
