Chorley have inflicted a club-record defeat on Droylsden in the EvoStik Premier League, running out 13-1 winners at their Victory Park Stadium.
The Magpies, who have maintained their three-point lead at the top of the table, were 5-0 ahead inside the 12 minutes against a side who have won just once in 41 fixtures during this campaign.
The home side extended their advantage to seven before the break, but after quickly moving 9-0 ahead seven minutes into the second half, Droylsden gave their suffering supporters something to cheer about with a consolation goal.
The Lancashire outfit reached double figures with 20 minutes remaining of the one-sided encounter, before they added three more goals during the final 10 minutes.
The defeat, Droylsden's 37th of a nightmare season, was the heaviest in their 125-year history.
