Report: Real Madrid considering David Luiz bid

Real Madrid are reportedly considering a surprise move for Paris Saint-Germain centre-back David Luiz.

Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be keen on signing a ball-playing defender to complement Sergio Ramos, despite already having Raphael Varane on the books at the Bernabeu.

Luiz's defensive capabilities have been widely criticised, but the 27-year-old's ability in possession is his standout strength.

According to The Express, Real Madrid will launch a big-money move for the extravagant Brazilian this summer.

Luiz joined PSG from Chelsea last summer in what was a world-record fee for a defender.
