Report: Ruben Pardo heading for new Real Sociedad deal

A report claims that Real Sociedad are preparing to offer Ruben Pardo a new long-term contract.

Real Sociedad are reportedly preparing to offer highly-rated midfielder Ruben Pardo a new long-term contract.

The 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in Spanish football, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in his services.

However, according to Marca, Sociedad have been locked in talks with Pardo's representatives over the last couple of weeks, with a view to extending his current deal.

Pardo signed a new deal only last year, but it is believed that a fresh contract will take him into 2019.

The Spanish Under-21 international made the step from the Sociedad B team into the first team in 2011.
