PSG 'prioritising new Mbappe contract'

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly intend to prioritise contract talks with Kylian Mbappe over the coming months.

While the forward has just over two years left on his existing deal, PSG have frequently insisted that they will not consider cashing in on the World Cup winner.

Despite the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, Real Madrid remain keen on signing the France international.

However, according to ESPN, PSG intend to meet the demands of the 21-year-old, who is allegedly contemplating a fresh challenge elsewhere.

The report adds that Mbappe remains in no rush to commit his future to the Ligue 1 champions, especially given the current uncertainty over when football will resume.

The attacker has contributed 23 goals and nine assists from just 27 outings in France's top flight and the Champions League this season.
