Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly urged Los Blancos to make a move for Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, viewing his France teammate as the perfect signing for the Spanish giants.
Olise scored 16 goals and registered 25 assists in 90 appearances for Crystal Palace before making the move to Bayern, and he has thrived since arriving at Allianz Arena in the summer of 2024.
The 23-year-old has amassed 24 goals and 23 assists in 59 appearances for Bayern, including four strikes in four outings at the start of the 2025-26 campaign.
According to Defensa Central, Mbappe believes that Olise would be the perfect player to operate on the right side of the Los Blancos attack, and he has urged his club to explore a potential transfer.
However, it is understood that Real Madrid are not planning a move for him at this moment in time.
Mbappe 'urges' Real Madrid to move for Bayern's Olise
Mbappe and Olise both found the back of the net in France's 2-0 victory over Ukraine in a World Cup qualification fixture on Friday, with the latter operating in the number 10 position.
Olise does usually feature on the right, though, and that is allegedly where Mbappe believes he could thrive at Bernabeu due to the issues that exist in that area of the field.
Rodrygo's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with the Brazil international heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish capital during the summer transfer window.
Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were among the teams linked with the attacker, but the transfer market closed with him remaining in the Spanish capital.
Rodrygo's future is still up in the air, though, and he could leave in 2026, potentially opening the door for Real Madrid to make a spectacular move for Olise, who is valued at £87m by Transfermarkt.
Would Olise be a good signing for Real Madrid?
Olise is a wonderful footballer, and he has the quality required to be a star for Real Madrid, but it is very difficult to imagine Bayern letting him leave in the near future considering his importance.
Jude Bellingham will also have to be worked back into the Los Blancos side once he returns from a shoulder operation, while Franco Mastantuono has impressed in the early stages of his Real Madrid career.
As a result, it is unlikely that Real Madrid will move for Olise in the next year or two, but it would certainly not be a surprise to see the former Reading youngster pull on the famous white strip at some stage in the future.
