Cristiano Ronaldo hopes Real Madrid keep Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo says that he wants to work with under-fire manager Carlo Ancelotti next season.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has given his support to under-fire manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The Italian coach is expected to be fired by the club following a trophyless season, and they are reportedly eyeing up Rafael Benitez to replace him.

However, Ronaldo urged the club to keep Ancelotti after Madrid beat Getafe 7-3 on the final day of the season.

He wrote on Twitter: "Great coach and amazing person. Hope we work together next season."

Ancelotti led Madrid to Champions League glory last year.
