How Real Madrid could line up against Almeria

Kepa Arrizabalaga will be made to wait for his Real Madrid debut, with head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirming that Andriy Lunin will keep his spot for Saturday's La Liga clash with Almeria.

The Spain international was signed on loan from Chelsea off the back of the news that the club's number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had suffered a serious knee injury.

Ancelotti must decide between Kepa and Lunin between the sticks for the rest of the season, with the latter keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao last weekend, but it has been confirmed that the Ukraine international will retain his spot for this game.

The success at San Mames came at a cost, with Eder Militao damaging his ACL, so the Brazil international is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Arda Guler has also been forced to undergo a knee operation, while Ferland Mendy (muscle) and Dani Ceballos (hamstring) remain on the treatment table for the capital giants.

There could be just the one change from the side that started the opening match of the season, with Antonio Rudiger coming in for the injured Militao, although Eduardo Camavinga faces a late fitness test.

Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are likely to be on the bench for the first whistle once again if Camavinga can prove his fitness, with Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni set to keep their spots.

Bellingham, meanwhile, is set to continue in an advanced area behind the front two of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, F Garcia; Valverde, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Bellingham; Vinicius, Rodrygo
