Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is expecting Karim Benzema available for selection in Tuesday's pre-season clash with Mexican outfit Club America.
Benzema did not feature in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Barcelona, with Ancelotti instead deciding to give the Frenchman a few extra training sessions following his holiday.
Ancelotti has said that the striker is in line to play 45 minutes against Club America, with the 34-year-old likely to take to the field for the second half of the contest.
As a result, Eden Hazard could again play as the false nine with support from Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, but there will be changes from the side that started El Clasico.
Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Ferland Mendy all in line for starts against America, with Ancelotti expected to shuffle his pack.
The Spanish and European champions are likely to again be without Dani Carvajal, though, as the Spaniard has still not overcome the ankle problem that forced him to miss out against Barcelona.
There could be another start for Lucas Vazquez at right-back, while David Alaba could drop to the bench, with Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger potentially featuring in the middle of the defence.
Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Vazquez, Militao, Rudiger, Mendy; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Rodrygo, Hazard, Vinicius
