Luka Modric is seemingly in line to feature for Real Madrid in Wednesday's clash with Leganes, having stepped up his recovery from a thigh problem.
The midfielder has missed Madrid's last two games against Mallorca and Galatasaray with the injury that he suffered while representing Croatia during the recent international break.
The postponement of El Clasico has given the 34-year-old extra time to recover, though, and Marca reports that the 2018 World Cup finalist took part in a full training session alongside his teammates on Sunday.
As a result, Modric is likely to be available for the La Liga fixture against Leganes, where Zinedine Zidane's side will be looking to return to winning ways having suffered a 1-0 loss at Mallorca on October 19.
Injuries and a one-match suspension earlier this season mean that Modric has only played five times for Madrid since the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
Gareth Bale, meanwhile, could also return against Leganes despite continuing his recovery from a calf problem in the gym rather than alongside his teammates in training.
