Fabio Coentrao withdraws from Portugal squad

Fabio Coentrao has been forced to pull out of the Portugal squad.

The Real Madrid left-back had originally been picked by Fernando Santos for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against France and Denmark.

However, the 26-year-old has failed to recover from a knee complaint in time and has had to withdraw with immediate effect.

In his absence, it is expected that Malaga defender Antunes will feature for the Seleccao.
