Carlo Ancelotti compares Isco to Clarence Seedorf

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has likened Isco to AC Milan great Clarence Seedorf.

The Dutchman, who became Milan coach earlier this year, played under Ancelotti during their time in Italy together, and the Los Blancos boss sees similarities between the Rossoneri chief and Spanish midfielder Isco.

"Isco can do what Seedorf did, we have spoken for a month about how he can adapt," he told reporters.

"We haven't been able to play with him in his usual position. He played very well against Schalke and Atletico Madrid.

"He is closer to starting. I had a similar case: Seedorf was an attacking central midfielder who, with sacrifice, played in a different position."

Madrid are currently top of La Liga.
