Real Madrid lead Mallorca 2-0 at the break in tonight's La Liga encounter at the Iberostar Stadium.

Los Blancos took the lead after just eight minutes as Gonzalo Higuain fired into the top corner from the edge of the box.

It was 2-0 midway through the half when Cristiano Ronaldo was picked out by Mesut Ozil before finding the bottom corner with a controlled finish.

Ronaldo nearly added to his side's tally before the break, but he flashed his powerful effort over the bar.
