How Real Madrid could line up against Barcelona

How Real Madrid could line up against Barcelona

Summer signings Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni could both make their Real Madrid debuts in Saturday's El Clasico with Barcelona in Las Vegas.

Rudiger, who has arrived at the club on a free transfer from Chelsea, is in line to feature in the middle of the defence in the pre-season clash, which could see David Alaba shifted across to left-back.

Meanwhile, Tchouameni could start alongside Toni Kroos and Casemiro in midfield, with head coach Carlo Ancelotti looking to assess his options for the new campaign.

A strong squad includes the likes of Eden Hazard, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema, with all four players expected to feature at some stage of the contest.

Hazard could be used as a centre-forward during pre-season, but it remains to be seen how involved Marco Asensio is amid the speculation surrounding his future.

Alvaro Odriozola is also in the squad, with the defender back at Bernabeu following a loan spell at Fiorentina, and he will be looking to impress Ancelotti during the course of pre-season.

Vinicius Tobias, who is currently on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, has also made the trip to the United States, in addition to 21-year-old forward Juanmi Latasa.

Ancelotti will make full use of his squad on Saturday, with the team due to take on Club America and Juventus in their next two games before facing Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup on August 10.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Alaba; Tchouameni, Casemiro, Kroos; Rodrygo, Benzema, Vinicius
