Preview: Real Madrid vs. Galatasaray

Sports Mole looks ahead to Wednesday's Champions League encounter between Real Madrid and Galatasaray at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid will make it into the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday if they avoid defeat to Galatasaray at home in Group B.

The Spaniards currently lead the table by six points thanks to three wins and a draw from their opening four fixtures.

Meanwhile, Turkish champions Gala can boost their chances of qualification if they come away from the Santiago Bernabeu with a draw or better.

Roberto Mancini's side head into the match in second place in the standings, but FC Copenhagen and Juventus will be ready to pounce if they lose.

Gala will also be keen to erase the memories of their 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Madrid when the teams faced each other two months ago.

The big injury news is that Cristiano Ronaldo could miss out for the hosts with a thigh problem, while Sami Khedira and Fabio Coentrao remain sidelined.

Elsewhere, Wesley Sneijder, Semih Kaya and Hamit Altintop are all unavailable for the visitors.
