Real Madrid board flight to Milan ahead of European final

Real Madrid will land in Milan on Friday afternoon ahead of the 2016 Champions League final.

Los Blancos, who are seeking an 11th European Cup, will take on capital rivals Atletico Madrid in the conclusion of the 2015-16 competition at the San Siro this weekend.

The Spanish club's official Twitter account posted a picture of the team boarding their plane in the Spanish capital, which will land early afternoon in Italy.

Cristiano Ronaldo was all smiles alongside Pepe, suggesting that the Portuguese has overcome the knock that forced him to limp out of a training session earlier this week.

Real Madrid beat Atletico 4-1 when the two teams met in the 2014 final in Lisbon.
