Real Madrid Castilla beaten at home

Real Madrid Castilla lose 1-0 at home to Alcorcon thanks to a first-half Angel Sanchez goal.

Real Madrid's Castilla side have been beaten 1-0 at home by Alcorcon in the Spanish Segunda Division.

It was a feisty first half, with four players booked in the opening 45 minutes, and the game lacked chances because of this.

However, Alcorcon created an excellent chance on 16 minutes for Angel Sanchez, who finished coolly to give his side the lead.

Castilla came forward in the second half looking for the equaliser but were to be left disappointed with a solid Alcorcon defensive effort in the second 45 minutes.
