Rangers complete the signing of Albania international Eros Grezda on a four-year deal from Osijek.

Rangers have completed the signing of Eros Grezda on a four-year deal from Osijek.

The 23-year-old winger did not feature for Osijek during their recent Europa League clash with Rangers due to injury, but manager Steven Gerrard has nonetheless taken him to Ibrox as his 14th summer signing.

Grezda could make his debut during Sunday's Old Firm derby with Celtic, subject to receiving a visa and international clearance.

"He is an excellent player and the fans will love him because he can contribute in the final third. He's really quick, very direct and he comes in with international experience," Gerrard told the club's official website.

"According to Borna [Barisic] and Nikola Katic he was by a mile Osijek's best player last season. He is a very dangerous player and while you never want to see anyone injured, we are thankful he wasn't available to play against us. All going well, hopefully he'll be a big player for us moving forward."

Grezda could be part of the Albania squad to face Scotland at Hampden Park on September 10.
