Faurlin demands QPR pay rise to stay

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has asked for his weekly wage to be increased to £50,000 in order to keep him at the club, according to The Mirror.

The 25-year-old has reportedly caught the eye of North London pair Tottenham and Arsenal, while Italian outfit Napoli are also said to be interested.

Faurlin is one of only four midfielders to feature in every minute of the Premier League so far this season. The remaining three are Stoke's John Walters, Fulham's Clint Dempsey and Spurs winger Gareth Bale.

The Argentinian's current deal at Loftus Road expires in the summer of 2013.
