Adel Taarabt: "My head was in Paris"

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt has admitted that interest from Paris Saint-Germain affected his early-season form.

The 22-year-old was reportedly wanted by the French club in January, but saw a move blocked by PSG's director of football Leonardo.

"I was hurt early in the season because my head was in Paris. With Paris it was done. I was already in Paris where I met the Qataris. But the arrival of Leonardo blocked things," Taarabt told The Mirror.

Taarabt scored his first Premier League goal of the season in QPR's 2-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday.
