Sandro backing Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp

Sandro claims that Harry Redknapp is the right man to turn the fortunes of Queens Park Rangers around.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro believes that manager Harry Redknapp will turn around the club's Premier League fortunes.

Redknapp's future at Loftus Road has been questioned after his side's slow start to the season, which has seen them win just two of their 10 league games so far.

However Sandro, who worked with Redknapp at previous club Tottenham Hotspur, believes that the 67-year-old is the right man to take QPR up the league.

"Harry is a good manager and everybody knows his qualities as he showed them also in other clubs, like at Tottenham," he told Perform.

"I think it is normal for every manager to have criticism when the team is not winning. This is normal in football.

"We will try to do our part in order for Harry stay with us. Together we can improve our position in the table. It is not easy, every game is like a final, but we are fighting. I am sure all players will always show determination."

QPR currently sit 19th in the Premier League.
