QPR boss Harry Redknapp believes that the club can avoid relegation, despite a 12th loss of the season at home to Liverpool on Sunday.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that the team can avoid relegation, despite Sunday's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League.

Bottom-placed QPR are now eight points from safety as they suffered a 12th loss of the campaign at Loftus Road.

"I still think we'll get out of trouble," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "I still think it's possible.

"If we get the right players we can make a real effort. We mustn't give up - we must still believe."

The R's travel to local rivals Chelsea in the league on Wednesday.
