Warnock brands Traore "a disgrace"

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has branded his own player Armand Traore "a disgrace" after his red card during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.

The defender was given a second booking after a late tackle on Villa midfielder Marcus Ambrighton, leaving Warnock fuming with the 21-year-old.

"I just thought he was a disgrace," Warnock told BBC Sport. "I will fine him as much as I possibly can.

"I told him to his face 'you've let me down and you've let the team down'.

"As an opposition player when you are winning 1-0 away from home, that is what you want. I just think he was a bit thick and naive."

Rangers, who moved up to ninth after the draw, next face Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.
