Harry Redknapp: 'I'm not angry with Julio Cesar over Chelsea shirt'

Redknapp not angry with Cesar

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that he has no problems with goalkeeper Julio Cesar after he was pictured wearing a Chelsea shirt.

The Brazilian shot-stopper insisted that he did not mean to antagonise QPR fans by wearing another team's colours during a birthday party for fellow countryman David Luiz.

While the West London outfit released a statement claiming that they are dealing with the "issue" internally, Redknapp has played down the situation.

"It was a bit of fun," West London Sport quotes Redknapp as saying. "He was round his mate's house – two Brazilian boys. It was just a bit of fun, that's all."

Meanwhile, QPR are preparing to take on Reading this weekend.
