Queens Park Rangers striker Andy Johnson has revealed that he did not get on with Fulham manager Martin Jol during his time at Craven Cottage.
The 31-year-old, who moved to Loftus Road this summer on a free transfer, was rumoured to have been involved in a number of clashes with the Dutchman during last season.
"Martin Jol is a great coach, but the truth is we didn't see eye to eye," Sky Sports News quotes Johnson as saying. "I had several conversations with him about playing me out wide, but they went nowhere.
"I can play the role, but it's not my best position, and there are not many wingers who score a lot of goals from out wide. Last year I don't think I got the amount of games my early-season form warranted."
Johnson is one of six new signings for the West London outfit so far.
