Queens Park Rangers defender Fabio has been ruled out of action "for a number of weeks" with a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian limped off with the complaint during his side's 0-0 draw with London rivals Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
Having undergone a scan to determine the damage, manager Mark Hughes has revealed that the Manchester United loanee faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
"Fabio has pulled his hamstring and will be out for a number of weeks, which is a blow for us," Hughes told the club's official website.
Fabio, 22, has made four appearances for the R's.
