Neil Warnock has revealed that he is happy that his Queens Park Rangers side have been knocked out of this years’ Carling Cup.
The Rs suffered a 2-0 second-round home defeat to League One Rochdale in front of just 4,775 spectators at Loftus Road yesterday evening.
"I'm not disappointed to be out. The competition is not a priority for us," Warnock told a press conference after the match.
"If I can't get motivated for the competition I can't blame the players if they can't."
QPR were one of four Premier League clubs to exit the competition on Tuesday, with Norwich City, Swansea City and Sunderland also being beaten by lower league opposition.
