Preview: Paris Saint-Germain vs. Benfica

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's match between Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica in Group C of the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain host Benfica in Group C of the Champions League on Wednesday with both sides having won their opening matches of this season's tournament.

French champions PSG hammered Olympiacos 4-1 in Greece two weeks ago, while Benfica saw off Anderlecht 2-0.

The home side start the contest in the better vein of form, with a run that has seen them go unbeaten in their last nine fixtures.

Meanwhile, Benfica have failed to experience defeat in their last six outings in all competitions.

Alex and Thiago Silva continue to be sidelined through injury for PSG, but both are expected to return before the end of the year.

However, Edinson Cavani is likely to return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench to score in Saturday's 2-0 win against Toulouse.

Benfica currently have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match at the Parc des Princes.
