Two goals from Mario Balotelli help AC Milan to a 4-0 win at Pescara in Serie A.

AC Milan have kept up their pursuit of second-placed Napoli in Serie A with an emphatic 4-0 win at Pescara.

The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute when Mario Balotelli scored from the penalty spot following Uros Cosic's reckless foul on Antonio Nocerino.

Milan extended their advantage on 33 minutes as Sulley Muntari smashed home at the back post from Robinho's free kick.

Mathieu Flamini made it 3-0 eight minutes into the second half with a simple finish from close range, before Balotelli grabbed his second of the match soon after when he fired in to round off a slick counter-attack.

The victory has left Milan four points behind Napoli in the table having played a game more.
