Perth Glory squeeze past Melbourne Heart

Perth Glory edge out Melbourne Heart 1-0 in the Australian A-League.

Perth Glory have beaten Melbourne Heart 1-0 in the Australian A-League this morning.

Jamie McLaren's 50th-minute strike was enough for the home side when he converted at the second attempt following Andrew Redmayne's initial save.

Scott Jamieson went close for the home side in the first half when his shot cannoned back off the woodwork.

The win was Glory's first of the season, following a 3-1 defeat to Adelaide and a 0-0 draw against Newcastle Jets.
